69 – Whom Gods Destroy

Summary

Kirk and Spock investigate a high security insane asylum. What they don’t know is that the inmates have taken over, and they are in serious danger of never returning to the Enterprise.

Commentary

Here’s a decent episode in the third season. There aren’t many of them, but they do exist. The criminals in this episode seem really evil, and the doctors who run the asylum don’t seem that much better. One of the inmates is an Orion slave girl, as seen in The Cage and The Menagerie.
