70 – Let That Be Your Last Battlefield

Summary

A black and white alien beams aboard the Enterprise. He has been in an ages-old conflict with another alien who also happens to be black and white, but on opposite sides.

Commentary

This is a decent episode, and one of the better ones of the 3rd season. But the message is pretty heavy-handed and gets a little old after a while. That’s why I rated the storyline a little lower than it otherwise would have been. I don’t really like the episode all that much, but it does have some of the best acting and characterization of the entire series, and it is one of the more memorable ones, too.
